This is the full version of the vray test that has been in my gallery for a few weeks: [link]
It was inspired by DivineErrors stunning Retrospective Cantaloupe ( > [link] < ) I was going to just leave it as a test because I thought it was too simmilar to DivineErrors image, but he said it was ok so I rendered it at full size. I set the lighting and sampling VERY high on this image, it's the most realistic glass thing I've done so far. You can see the realistic lighting in effect where the corners of the glass objects touch the floor. I set it to render at 8 megapixel res, and it was finished by the time I got home from work. That's about 13 hours. ^_^ Not bad for an accurate glass render at 3456 x 2304 where the glass fills most of the frame... 3ds max, Vray, Photoshop |
