I create many many test renders of my images before I render the final one, trying to find the perfect balance. It takes a long time, but when you see each image looking better or worse than the previous one, it becomes a natural progression.
Making themes for gnome shell I've learned the same thing. It seems like it should be easy but once you start blending colors the expected result is rarely what you have pictured in your mind, then it' trial & error until the desired effect is reached.
I'm beginning to understand what artists must deal with.
What OS are you using? Works fine under XP Pro and XP Pro x64, not sure about windows 7. Make sure you've got the latest version (223) installed, or try installing again. If that doesn't work, try downloading an older version. [link] I've heard from a few people who say topmod is unstable for them, but it's always worked great for me. Good luck!
Thanks Jason, yeah it use to work great, oddly only when it was still being worked on for improvements, Windows XP Pro, could it be the python scripting that might be causing the crashes? windows 7 it works but not that well either, its when I'm doing a Subdivide of the object with when I encounter the crash... wish they would bring it back to the production line to work on some more, hell, I wish I knew coding, I'd so try to fix it and make it less buggy. Kudos for you able to use it, wish I could find an alternative for this program it really does create some masterful shapes, but alas... thanks for the reply! hope all is well!
