Whoa, looks like smoke in metalic liquid form. The unique reflection was the real eye catcher for me.. high quality too.

Check out TopMod, it's a free modeling program that you can use to build these mathematical models. You can get it here: [link] There are a bunch of tutorials on the site and scattered around the web.

Basic modeling skills are also essential, and you'll need good technique in both topmod and with the blender poly tools to get really interesting models. More importantly, just play with the software, and see where it leads you. Don't expect to replicate my designs, but form your own style. :)
