Whilst preparing to re-render Space Oyster at 54 megapixels as a print file, I decided to have some fun and try to render an optimised version of the scene at full wallpaper resolution in under 1 minute.
I spent about an hour in vray optimising all the settings trying to make it look half decent for a 1 minute render. I know there is a bit of splotching on the background, but I figured that it looks kind of similar to some sorts of grey textured backgrounds used in photographic portrait studios, so I don't see it as a problem. Original vray stamp remains on the image, this was saved directly from vray framebuffer with NO MODIFICATION IN PHOTOSHOP. 3ds max, vray |
