Artist's Comments
This is the first in my series of photographs taken at the EKKA, which is (for all you peoples unfamiliar with Brisbane culture) our annual show. I spent quite a lot of time at sideshow alley with my trusty tripod taking long-exposure shots of the rides. It was quite difficult working my way through the crowds with a huge tripod in tow, and at one stage a girl tripped over it and nearly smashed my camera. But it was all worth it, if only for the exotic cacophony of colour and light you see before you.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
