Absolutely love this series man! The difference that each 'material' makes to the overall piece is dang striking Like this one has a pure, minimalist feel... it's a real accomplishment in colour values, that you can capture all its intricacies while still being rendered in completely white surrounds. Random detail but I adore the descriptions here too - that vaguely mad-libbed, badly-translated-retro-video-game style! Or maybe I'm imagining things? Either way a stellar swath of work all round
Thanks for the comment! You're not the first person to say my descriptions are "mad libbed". I guess I'm trying to express some conceptual basis for the image and maybe it's coming across as corny or awkward, but i don't really know how to express those ideas in any other way.
Hahaha awwh heck I hope you don't feel like it's a bad thing! I don't believe I've noticed it in any of your other descriptions; it's just how this and Indeterminate parallel each other. If it's not meant to be a direct vg callback, I still really like it, anyway. It's enigmatic.
It took me lots of practise to become flexible enough for this interpretive dance photoshoot. I had to stay out of the sun for several years and converted my house into a monkey gym. I'm glad you think my lines are graceful.
I know what this is; it's one of my favorite objects ever. I'm serious; just an amazing form, with complex geometric genus, and sexy curvature. Unlike many abstract, algebraic sculptures, this shape manages to satisfy the complexity, and still maintain excellent balance and visual aesthetic. Makes me jealous that I didn't create it. Awesome work.
